Allergies: Some people are sensitive or allergic to honey. The US FDA recommends not giving raw honey to children under 12 months old, due to a rare but serious risk of Clostridium botulinum spores entering their underdeveloped digestive system.

We source our honey from farms that utilize growing and harvesting practices that help to retain the deep nourishment qualities honey offers and help happy bees thrive.

Containers: The honey containers you receive your honey in are not only infinitely recyclable, but they are also handy reusable containers with lids that help preserve the freshness of your honey and prevent spilling. We recommend that you keep your honey in a dark place that is slightly cool and use only clean tools to scoop the honey out of the jar. This ensures the longest-lasting freshness possible.

Please note:
Pure raw honey will naturally crystalize over time as the sugar (fructose and glucose) precipitates out of the solution. Crystalized honey has not spoiled. The crystallization of the sugars in the honey will change the texture and possibly the color of your honey. We do recommend that if your honey begins to crystalize you only decrystalize it once to preserve its flavor and aroma. Crystalized honey does make for a fantastic facial scrub!

If you are decrystalizing honey, we recommend placing the glass jar of honey in a bowl of water that is not more than 110 degrees Fahrenheit until the honey has liquefied, adding more hot water as needed to keep the desired temperature.
